I find out what you need help with, get a peek at your home, see what you have, why you have it, how much room is available, and begin developing a game plan. I will follow up with a proposal for your project.
You don’t need to “organize for the organizer.” It helps me to see what your day-to-day house looks like.
HOME ORGANIZING
$100 per hour (4 hour minimum)
My Process
Identify categories in the project area.
Gather and sort all items in the space.
Declutter by helping you make good decisions about what to discard and how. I help navigate this process with logic and empathy. Includes delivery of one carload of donations per session.
Plan where to put things to make the most sense for your day-to-day life, all with an eye for detail and a vision for how you can maintain it.
Arrange and contain what remains, repurposing your containers and making suggestions for new ones.
Label and add the finishing touches to help you stay on track after the session.

For established clients

As families (or wardrobes!) grow, the space and systems may need to be tweaked. I can provide a touch-up as needed.

When we work together
I will treat you and your home with respect.
Confidentiality is of utmost importance. I do not disclose client information and I do not post photos of your home without permission.
I will not discard an item without your permission. I donate or recycle items when possible.
Clients typically enjoy leaving the room or home while I work, and then joining me to decide what will be relocated, donated, and discarded. We will make a plan that you are comfortable with.
I’ve had my share of chaos; I know how quickly clutter can accumulate, even in the most organized homes! I look at rooms that people find embarrassing, and I just see potential.
